Company History

wwweb concepts was founded in the spring of 1998. Web design nclients have included the University of Houston Clear Lake, Drexel Metals Corporation, Competition Sales, and TSMW, Inc. In 2000, TSMW, Inc. was featured in its industry's major trade magazine, Roofing Contractor. In the article the writer mentions the company's web site:

"The site went live in May of '99 and is quite impressive.... The site is graphic, but loads quickly. It furnishes the visitor with tons of details, but is easy to navigate and understand."

Word spread and within a short time wwweb concepts flourished with its own web server infrastructure and a regular stream of web design clients from established busineses, dot com start ups, and non-profit clubs and organizations. Past projects include an online dating site start up and numerous other web applications using ASP and MS SQL Server.

wwweb concepts was one of the first to adopt the Microsoft ASP.NET platform. Adobe approved Dreamweaver developers, wwweb concepts was one of the first to offer Dreamweaver extensions for the ASP.NET platform.

About The Founder

James W. Threadgill has authored numerous tutorials on ASP and ASP.NET web development, published on such sites as the Dynamic Zones and MSDN Academic Alliance. He co-authored the Sams book Dreamweaver MX: ASP.NET Web Development. James first began computer programming in 1995 while attending Alvin Community College. He completed a certificate of computer science program and an Associate of Arts degree at Alvin before going on to the University of Houston-Clear Lake where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts. James has also completed eighteen hours of secondary graduate work at the University of Houston.

James also publishes fiction and poetry under the name Wayne James. His fiction first appeared in Raconteur in 1995 and has been published numerous times since: in Hadrosaur Tales 5 and 7, Bayousphere, and in the Write Gallery e-zine. His poetry first appeared in the small press magazine Lucidity. Most recently his work appeared in Tales of the Talisman winter 2010 and Spring 2011 issues.
